About Me
In order to be honest about the world, we must first be honest about ourselves.
ANDERS LUNDEEN
I majored in Film and Television studies at The University of Wales in Aberystwyth in the United Kingdom because I wanted to do something different than everyone else I knew growing up.
After returning home to the New York Area, I got the amazing opportunity to go work at Saturday Night Live at N.B.C. I worked with a ton of amazing people who I had grown up admiring… After 2 hugely rewarding years at 30 rock, I decided to move into a post production role at Blowback Productions where I worked for a further 2 years as a post-production assistant/video editor. My years in Film/TV taught me a great deal about the importance of meeting the demands of your target audience. But they also taught me a great deal about long hours…
My creative approach—no matter the medium—is to properly understand and be an undying advocate for the end user. The value of any form of product design is to know your audience and stand up for their needs.
For me, design isn’t about being the best at anything other than empathy. Only through empathy can you begin to engage with your users properly and give them what they truly need out of any product or service.
